Notice Inviting Bids for Downieville School Gym Roof Replacement
NOTICE INVITING BIDS
Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as “District”, will receive prior to 3:00 p.m. on the 5th day of September, 2025 sealed bids for the award of a Contract for the following:
Downieville School Gym Roof replacement
130 School St, Downieville, CA 95936
The project consists of overlayment of the existing roof with a new single ply system including flashing and accessories.
All bids shall be made and presented only on the forms presented by the District. Bids shall be received in the Office of the Owner/Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District located at 109 Beckwith Road / P.O. Box 955 Loyalton, CA 96118, or electronically in PDF format To: [email protected] and [email protected]. You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt, if you do not, you are responsible to contact [email protected]. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at the district office approximately 10 minutes after the advertised opening time to allow for electronic transmission and receipt acknowledgement by the District.
Miscellaneous Information
This project is not subject to prequalification, is not subject to DSA oversight, but will require fingerprinting of contractor employees if contractors will have contact with students. The Owner or designee is the construction manager and inspector.
Bids shall be received in the place identified above, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above-stated time and place.

There will be a required Pre-Bid Conference and job walk on Thursday, August 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Downieville School, 130 School St, Downieville, CA 95936.
