Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P)

Welcome to the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program

Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District
Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P)

Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District is proud to offer Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs (ELO-P) at two elementary school sites: Loyalton Elementary School and Downieville Elementary School. The Loyalton program is operated in partnership with Sierra Kids, a program of Toddler Towers, Inc., while the Downieville program is operated on the Downieville Elementary School campus.

ELO-P provides safe, enriching before-school, after-school, summer, and intersession opportunities that support students' academic, social-emotional, physical, and creative development. Through hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, arts enrichment, academic support, and community partnerships, our programs help students thrive beyond the traditional school day.

Below you will find the District's approved Expanded Learning Opportunities Program Plan and Board approval documentation.
