Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

LCAP Community Engagement Meetings

We are requesting help from our families and students in reviewing our district priorities for next year and determining possible revisions based on our current student outcome data.  The Local Control Accountability Plan (or LCAP) is the plan for all school districts in California that describes how we spend certain funds received from the state.  The LCAP process requires that we engage our entire community in the planning work.  To accomplish this, we are holding a meeting in Downieville in the drama room on Thursday, March 26 at 5:30 pm and in Loyalton in the elementary school multipurpose room on Tuesday, March 31 at 5:30 pm.  Childcare and snacks will be provided.  We would love to see all parents attend, and also encourage high school students to attend.

This is a great opportunity to get involved in your child’s school. Your input will help guide our classroom priorities in the years ahead.

We look forward to seeing you as we begin this important work!

Sincerely,

Sean Snider

Superintendent

2026 LCAP Community Meeting Handouts

The LCAP is a three-year plan that describes the goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support positive student outcomes that address state and local priorities. The LCAP provides an opportunity for school districts to share their stories of how, what, and why programs and services are selected to meet their local needs.
